Sleaford Mods is a self-titled EP released by the British electronic music duo Sleaford Mods on September 14, 2018, on Rough Trade Records. It is the duo's fifth EP and their first release since their 2017 album English Tapas.
The EP features five new tracks, including the lead single "Stick in a Five and Go." The EP's sound is a continuation of Sleaford Mods' signature style, with spare, minimalist beats and Williamson's spoken-word vocals. However, the EP also features a darker and more introspective tone than some of their previous work.
The Sleaford Mods EP was met with critical acclaim upon its release, with reviewers praising Williamson's lyrics and the duo's unique sound. Pitchfork called the EP "a masterclass in bleakness" and said that it was "one of the most important albums of the year." The Guardian said that the EP was "a vital and timely document of our times" and that it was "essential listening for anyone who wants to understand the anger and frustration that is gripping the working class in Britain today."
