Dropout Boogie is the eleventh studio album by American rock duo the Black Keys. It was released on May 13, 2022, by Easy Eye Sound and Nonesuch Records. The album was preceded by the release of two singles: the lead single "Wild Child" and "It Ain't Over".
Dropout Boogie is a return to form for the Black Keys, with a stripped-down blues rock sound that harkens back to their earlier albums.
The album also features a number of guest appearances, including Billy F. Gibbons of ZZ Top, Greg Cartwright of the Oblivians, and Angelo Petraglia. Gibbons appears on the track "Good Love", while Cartwright contributes guitar to the track "Wild Child". Petraglia produced the album and co-wrote a number of the songs.
Dropout Boogie received favorable reviews from music critics, who praised the album's raw energy and return to the Black Keys' roots. The album was also a commercial success, debuting at number two on the Billboard 200 chart.
